Jamee Jolly is running for Texas Rep in House District 70. Texas law requires a candidate for the Texas House must be a resident of that district since Nov.1st 2021.
However Jolly declared under penalty of law on 4/2019 that her homestead was 7810 Element which is in HD 66 and as of 1/20/2022 has not been changed. Under Texas law, this is Jolly's "intended" permanent residence.
Two months later Jolly attempted to rent 7810 Element (her homesteaded residence) on 6/2019, which is illegal under Texas law (unless she changes her homestead residence, which she didn't).
On Feburary 3rd 2020, Jolly spoke before the Plano P&Z concerning her "home" at 7810 Element in Legacy West, which she referred to as her "Neighborhood". All of which is located in HD66..
On December 9, 2021, Jolly declared on her candidate application, under penalty of law, she resided at 2809 Las Palmas in HD70 for 2ys & 3mos. or since ~ 9/2019.
So which is it? Either Jolly has lived in HD70 for years while taking a homestead tax credit in HD66, or she has lived in HD66 all along and lied about living in HD70 during that same period.

Feb. 3rd 2020 P&Z. Jolly discusses her “home” and “our neighborhood”when discussing Legacy West in HD66, NOT HD70. Her comments about her home in Legacy West where made after she supposedly had moved to 2809 Las Palmas in HD70. These comments indicate someone who lives in Legacy West, not a landlord.
This copy of Jamee Jolly's 2019 Residence Homestead Exemption Application (page 2-signature page), was obtained from the Collin County Appraisal District via a open records request. This public record clearly shows the date and name of person signing the document. Jolly declared 7810 Element in HD66 her principal address on 4/16/2019 and as of 1/20/22, this declaration has not changed.
The upper section of P1 of this form clearly shows Jolly claimed occupancy of this address as principal residence on 4/8/2018.
The lower section of p1 of this form clearly shows the address of the homestead as 7810 Element in HD66 NOT HD70.
The signature section of P2 of this form clearly shows Jamee Jolly as the signaturee of the Application a Homestead Tax Credit. Note: Actual Signature Redacted by CCAD.

This form clearly reads: NOTICE REGARDING PENALTIES FOR MAKING OR FILING AN APPLICATION CONTAINING A FALSE STATEMENT: If you make a false statement on this form, you could be found guilty of a Class A misdemeanor or a state jail felony under Section 37.10, Penal Code.

Not two months after declaring 7810 her homestead, Jolly was advertising this address for rent. Unless you change your homestead address, or live at the location, this is illegal under Texas Law.

This is Jamee Jolly's Application for a Place on the General Primary Ballot. Jolly clearly declares on 12/9/2021, that her permanent address is 2809 Las Palmas (HD70), NOT her homestead 7810 Element (HD66). The form reads Las Palmas has been her permanent residence since ~9/2019.
